Programs Overview

Alta Mira's Mission:
"The mission of Alta Mira is to promote evidenced-based integrated treatment for individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders through clinical services, education, research and technical assistance."

We treat addiction, co-occurring mental illness and eating disorders. Our integrated treatment is helpful for those suffering from both addiction and mental illness. Many people get treatment only for their addictive disorder and end up relapsing because of untreated or under-treated mental health issues. Our motivational approach has been shown to provide helpful support for those in early stages of recovery.
